Disc Golf Handicap Calculation
A disc golf course can have anywhere from nine to 27 holes (actually heavy wire baskets on posts), though most courses have 18. Course length is roughly one-third that of a traditional golf course. A disc golf course has nine holes ending in large metal baskets, marked by an orange flag. Like golf, the goal is to land the disc in each basket with the fewest throws, or strokes.
Courses
Course length is around 1804 feet with 8 holes less than 300 feet and one between 300 and 400 feet. A very well-manicured course on rolling hills alongside the mighty Rogue River. Courses are typically located next to traditional golf courses. It's really simple to know whether your golf course has a disc golf course. Course schemes allow multiple course layouts to be represented in the system. Likewise, not every course has a set par for each hole.

Putting isn't easy, but it is simple and once you have the fundamentals down, your practice will benefit your game rather than reinforce the errors that cost you strokes. The new disc selection segment offers easy to understand demonstration of not only what discs to throw, but why they work. Putts I don't use much pressure at all. I use a finger fan grip for those.
players,player
Players throw a disc from a tee and then throw the disc from where it comes to rest. The hole is completed when the player throws the disc into a basket, commonly known as a pole hole. Players start at hole one and complete the course in order, playing through to the last hole. The player with lowest total cumulative score wins. Players are led through a series of wooded and open areas as they work their way through the course . Disc golf is much like regular golf, except that instead of using clubs to hit a ball into a hole, the player throws a disc or Frisbee into a basket .
Players use flying discs (golf discs or Frisbees?) and play holes that start with a tee area and end with a Disc Golf Basket or Target. The object: complete the hole by putting your golf disc in the basket in the fewest number of throws. Players of all ages and from across the country will be competing in this years event. This years tourney looks to be one of the largest ever. Many local players are competing this year so be sure to follow their progress and success!
