In front of each item will be a Bidding Sheet listing the approximate retail value of the item, the minimum starting bid, and the acceptable bidding increments (e.g., increases of $.50, $1, or $5). Donations made through this annual fundraising effort are critical for the continued funding of these programs. The optional dues renewal contribution was implemented in 1998 and continues to serve as a convenient method for GCSAA members to get involved in The Institute.
Item solicitation, event publicity and cash collection responsibilities fall upon the client organization. Items for children are also most welcome -- toys, furniture, clothing, baby items. You can even raid your own basement or garage for "treasures" you no longer want that are in like-new condition!
